Billy G Presser

Billy seems way too happy. Very strange.

Billy keeps repeating he is very proud of the work they did at UK, A&M, UTEP.

He came here with a one day plan, same at UTEP. Says he has never been a 5 year guy. Work one day at a time. So is that why he never signed a contract?

Billy talking about the players now. Billy looks like he is about to jump out of his skin. Maybe his inner Texan will be unleashed.

Billy is now saying he is avaliable to the players for the rest of his life.... Strange, strange, strange! Earlier he mentioned that he wants the recruits to keep their commitments. That is vital.

He was quite defensive when talking about the ambassador role.

"I am not an advice giver" Direct Billy G quote. So now he says i dont think that the players will seek my opinion on advice after he just said the players can call me anytime? Weird....

Billy says he talked to the parents. According to Meeks dad, he never called him during the season. I bet that was a good first phone call for him.

Looks like Billy is going to seek the 6million. He keeps calling it a contract. Calls it a shorter version of the contract. I fear a lawyer struggle!

"We always had a contract" Billy G

"We will talk at a later time in detail" about what I like about Mitch Barnhart....

Do you think Billy was hammered late last night?

" I don't think (leaving Kentucky) should be a bad deal"

He is now stretching saying my vacation is over, i slept in this morning, i am ready to roll.

Billy throws out the word terminated.

" I think we did very, very, very well" Really......

Talking about the fans now. Impressed with us for supporting them last year when times were bad. Going around the fans reaction this year during the rough two week period he keeps bringing up.

"I eat out every night, I am out every night with the people"

He needs to get back to the Big 12. Nebraska would be an interesting fit for him. Although Doc Sadler is popular there. If the Baylor post opens, then that would be good. Texas Tech might be a good fit for him as well.

A Jasper question! Touche Billy Clyde.

And now a question about ESPN.

"Im a straight shooting guy. Jeanine and I are friends, have been for a long time."

"When I used to be married, I used to think that all the time."

"I am the luckiest perso to ever walk the face of the Earth."

"I think my track record proves that I can recruit, and can coach. We wont let this bother us. We will bounce back quickly, I think."

Billy thinks we are heading in the right direction. "If they dont win every game, they should be on the coach all the time. Turn the heat up a little bit" Interesting comment.

Billy says he is having a good time today.

He loves basketball, will not question that at all.

He is taking our great towel boy!!!!

Talking about his relationship with Mr. Wildcat and former Texas Western Head Coach Don Haskins.

I really want to know what is going to happen with this memo. It is really bothering me. Taking this thing to court will just add to the money issues. Hopefully that can just have a settlement. Bring in the MLB arbitration talks!!

"You want to buy my house? It's on the market!" Billy G.

Billy wraps it up. Man this thing was strange. Post more later. Now it is off to best buy to buy some goodies!

Free Pizza at the Joyce Center???

Students at Notre Dame received an email today from Coach Brey informing them that they will be able to get into tonights game for free AND will receive free pizza from the head ball coach. Great way to get the troops into the Joyce for her final game before a massive renovation. How come Coach G never did this for us????

Side note.... Notre Dame's first game in the J was against UCLA

First Post!

Well this is my first (and long delayed) adventure into the blogging realm. Some of the things that I am aiming to do on this blog is to talk about things that I am interested in. I am a soon to be graduate of the University of Kentucky. Obviously I will be talking about Kentucky sports on here, and college sports for that matter. I am a political science major, so obviously politics will be discussed. I am a television and movie fan, so that will be talked about. Anything goes really. I hope to have some posts about the Cats game tonight, and the ongoing Billy situation. Anything goes here. It will take some time to get used to this. For now, thoughts on the game tonight
